Kids Club Program Options

  • Welcome to Kids Club!

Kids Club Early Childhood (EC) Program

Our Early Childhood Program is open daily from 6:30a.m. to 6:00p.m. at Verda Dierzen Early Leaning Center.  Kids Club EC is a quality child care program designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children ages 3-5.  The program will follow a daily schedule so children experience both active and quiet activities, teacher and child initiated, focusing on the learning processes.  Each day will have a balance of structured and free choice activities and includes rest time each afternoon.

During the school year, the EC program works cooperatively with children that are enrolled in the district's PreK program.  Children can attend both Kids Club and weekly PreK classes at VDELC.  Due to Kids Club being offered within the public school system, the program is DCFS license-exempt.

Kids Club School Age (SA) Programs

Kids Club School Age Programs begin at school dismissal and are open until 6:00p.m. daily.  Kids Club is a quality after school program designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment for Kindergarten and Elementary school children.  Kids Club participants will enjoy indoor and outdoor play, structured activities such as crafts, games, science experiments and group activities.  There is a daily opportunity for homework and reading.

    Kids Club Auxiliary Day Program

Kids Club is open on many days that school is not in session (ie. parent/teacher conference days, winter and spring breaks).  The Elementary school sites will meet at Mary Endres Elementary on these days.  The EC and Kindergarten programs will remain at Verda Dierzen Early Learning Center.  All Kids Club sites are open from 6:30am-6:00pm on Auxiliary Days. Kids Club is closed on district designated national holidays.

    Kids Club Summer Day Camp

Kids Club offers Summer Day Camp programs that operate Monday-Friday from 6:30am-6:00pm at Westwood Elementary (K-5th) and Verda Dierzen Early Learning Center (ages 3-5).  The Summer Day Camp program includes weekly swim days at Woodstock Water Works, field trips and a variety of fun summer activities.  Registration for Kids Club Summer Day Camp is separate from the school year program.
