D200 Music Team Tiny Recital
No one knows the therapeutic value of music during difficult times better than our fine staff of music educators. There's also too much talent on this staff to keep it to themselves. Teachers will periodically release video performances that we're happy to share.
Please see below to view these performances. We will add to this page as we receive new contributions from our staff members.
Mrs. Carrie Filetti
Mrs. Carrie Filetti teaches general music to students in grades 6-8 at both Northwood and Creekside Middle Schools. Here, Carrie performs Lift Every Voice and Sing, by James Weldon Johnson & J. Rosamond Johnson (arr. Craig Courtney).
Mr. Hugo Alcazar
Mr. Hugo Alcazar, who teaches music and chorus at Olson Elementary, performs Orange Peel with his jazz funk combo, Hot Lagarto. A little bonus is fellow D200 Teacher, Ivan Cisneros (2nd Grade Dual Language at Prairiewood) on guitar.
