Love to Read

  • On March 20, District 200 was scheduled to celebrate Love to Read Day. Unfortunately, like with so many plans right now, the coronavirus situation caused a change. But that's the great thing about books — you can read anywhere, and at any time! Our teachers recorded videos of themselves reading some of their favorites. We hope you'll enjoy sharing them with your children.

    District 200 Loves to Read!

Our Love to Read day for volunteers this year will be Friday, March 20, 2020.  Sign-up will be primarily electronic, but those who are unable to use the Animated drawing of a woman reading to a group of children online system are welcome to contact us for help in volunteering.

Links to the sign-up system for each school will be posted below as soon as they are available. If there is no sign-up link, then the school has not provided one. Please contact the school directly if you are interested in reading at a school with no link posted. Schools' phone numbers are listed below. Please choose the school at which you would like to read, and complete the online registration.  If you are not able to register online, or if you have other questions or concerns, please contact the school directly and tell them you are calling about Love to Read.

Thank you for making time for us in your schedule, and helping us continue to promote a love of reading among our students. We look forward to seeing you!
