  • Below you will find a listing of the active local scholarships that are currently available.  Please note that some scholarships may be available only to Woodstock High School or Woodstock North High School students.

    Horatio Alger Scholarship
    Due October 25, 2019
    Award Amount:  Up to $20,000
    Student must be a high school senior committed to completing a bachelors degree at an accredited institution and have critical financial need ($50,000 or less adjusted gross income per family is preferred).  Students must also be involved in co-curricular and community activities. Must have a 2.0 GPA and be a US citizen.For more information and to apply, visit

    Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship
    Due October 30, 2019
    Award Amount:  Full housing and tuition for up to four years
    Caddies must be nominated by their sponsoring country club.  Applicants are evaluated and compete based on caddie record, academics, financial need, and character and leadership.

    Voice of Democracy
    Due October 31, 2019
    Award Amount: Up to $30,000
    Open to students in grades 9-12.  Students need to record an original 3-5 minute essay on a standard cassette tape or CD.  This year's theme is My Responsibility to America. Click here for more information.

    Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship
    Due November 5, 2019
    Award Amount:  $1,000 to $15,000 per year
    Applicant must be a high school senior planning to go to a 4 year accredited college or university on a full-time basis.  Students will be judged based on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.

    Prudential Spirit of Community Award
    Due November 15, 2019– Need to have a school principal or head of 4-H, Girl Scouts, American Red Cross, YMCA, or affiliate of HandsOn Network sign off 
    Award Amount:  up to $1,000 and a trip to Washington, D.C.
    Students in grades 5-12 may apply if they have engaged in a volunteer activity in the past 12 months.
