Ms. Cara Fulcher

Ms Cara Fulcher started playing violin when she was 8 years old. In middle school and high school, she had the opportunity to be a part of multiple pit orchestras and small ensemble groups in her hometown of St Charles, IL. She also was a teacher assistant, and served as the concertmaster and section leader of the chamber orchestra and pit orchestra at St Charles North High School. Cara studied Music Education at Illinois Wesleyan University, and enjoyed teaching string lessons at the Boys and Girls' Club, as well as participating in chamber music ensembles, and philanthropic events through Sigma Alpha Iota, a women's music fraternity. She played in the Illinois Wesleyan Symphony Orchestra, and served as principal second violin for her sophomore through senior years, as well as learned and played the flute in the Titan Band and Symphonic Bands!

Ms Fulcher teaches 4th and 5th grade orchestra at Prairiewood and orchestra and General Music at Creekside. She has been working in District 200 since 2016, and also teaches private string and piano lessons in Lake in the Hills.
