City League Volleyball

  • City League Volleyball is a program for girls in grades 6, 7 &  8 who want to improve upon their volleyball skills and have fun.  Since 6th grade girls cannot tryout for the Fox Valley team until 7th grade, this program is a great way for them to participate in volleyball, familiarize themselves with the volleyball spirit at Northwood, and prepare for future tryouts.  Practices are right after school till 5:00 p.m., three to four times a week.  The girls participate in many drills to help develop passing, setting, spiking, blocking, serving, and court awareness.  Although there aren’t formal games against other schools, there are plenty of scrimmages during practice for the girls to put all of their skills to the test!
