PRIDE Awards

  • The PRIDE Awards were created by the District 200 Board of Education in 1990 to honor outstanding graduating seniors. The word, “PRIDE” is an acronym that WHS, D200 & WNHS logos stands for “Positive Recognition iDistrict 200 Education.” Awards are given in seven different categories which represent the qualities the Board believes the community truly values in its graduates: scholarship, personal achievement, vocational excellence, fine arts, community service, school service and athletics.

    Award winners are selected each spring by committees of school board members, high school staff, and district administrators. PRIDE Award winners are announced at the annual Senior Awards programs, and winners receive a special medallion to wear at graduation.

2020 PRIDE Awards

  • The District 200 Board of Education is seeking nominations from parents, community members and employees for the 2020 PRIDE Awards to be given to outstanding graduating seniors from Woodstock High School and Woodstock North High School. 

    Nominations can be made online, or by downloading and completing a form and returning it to the address indicated.

    Please note:  At this point in the process, the Board is accepting only nominations. Please do not submit supporting documentation.  Nominated students will have an opportunity to provide recommendations and additional information when they complete their applications.

    All mailed forms and online submissions must be received on or before Monday, February 24, 2020.  Please note that only one nomination form is necessary in order to submit a student’s name for consideration.
